Hello

I'M KELSEY

& I uncover insights that guide meaningful design decisions

A little about me

My path into UX research didn’t start with design tools or wireframes...it started with people. I’ve always been the person asking why: Why do we think the way we do? Why do we choose one thing over another? Why do we abandon an app that’s supposed to make life easier?

That curiosity led me into psychology first. I wanted to understand the patterns behind human behavior, the invisible rules that guide decision-making. But the more I learned, the more I found myself wondering about something else: How do these behaviors play out in the products we use every day?

So, I chased that question into the world of computer science. It was a different kind of puzzle - algorithms, logic, systems - but it gave me a new lens, one that helped me see how technology is built and where it often fails the people using it.

Eventually, those two threads, human behavior and technical systems, came together in graduate school, where I studied human factors psychology. That’s where everything clicked. I realized I could spend my career exploring the space where people and products meet, translating messy human reality into insights that shape smarter, more empathetic design.

Today, that’s still what drives me. I love the moment when a vague problem sharpens into clarity, when a pattern emerges from dozens of user conversations, when a team suddenly sees their product from the user’s perspective.
